We buy directly from farming cooperatives, cutting out middlemen and paying premiums of 30-50% above commodity market prices. This financial stability lets farmers invest in their land, their families, and the quality of their crop. Every lot is fully traceable -- we can tell you the farm, the farmer, the altitude, and the processing method behind every bag we sell.
Environmental Impact
Coffee is one of the most climate-vulnerable crops on earth. We fund shade-grown reforestation programmes that protect biodiversity, sequester carbon, and produce better-tasting beans. Our packaging is fully compostable, our shipping has been carbon-neutral since 2024, and we invest in climate-resistant coffee varieties that can withstand rising temperatures without sacrificing cup quality.
Community Investment
Great coffee starts with thriving communities. We fund clean water projects, school scholarships, and healthcare access in the regions where we source. In our store cities, we host free brew classes, partner with local artists, and donate unsold beans to food banks. We believe that when a company takes from a community, it has an obligation to give back more than it took.
